History : King Aurthur's Knights of the Round Table

 Hello everyone,

2 ESO A have been learning about Medieval Europe recently, so I thought it would be a fun activity to challenge them to design their own coat of arms. Each student was given a description of a different Knight of the Round Table, famous characters from the British legend of King Arthur. Althought King Aurhur is a mythical figure, his Round Table really did exist! Check out this youtube video to find out more:

The students task was to read a description of their knight and create a coat of arms which reflected their character, using symbols, line divisions and colours. Then they wrote a short biography.

The results were so great we made a display!
